Consulting

"Consulting for Instructional Solutions"

The Rochester Teacher Center is beginning a new initiative in an effort to professionally support practitioners who want assistance, suggestions, or advice for instructional problem solving. Teachers may get support from colleagues in a range of areas relevant to a teacher's particular class or students. Assistance can be in the form of professional demonstration and modeling, observation and feedback, lesson or test development and critique, or curriculum development specific to a teacher's self-identified needs and interests.

Teachers that request assistance in any of these listed areas of teaching and learning will be contacted by a fellow practitioner who will arrange a mutually determined time for collegial discussion. Teachers can find solutions, exchange ideas, get feedback, or sound out ideas and approaches with colleagues that are focused on their specific students, curriculum, instructional, or professional goals.

If you would like to meet with a colleague on one of these topics, suggest additional topics, or offer to share your expertise on one of these topics, please call the RTC for a request or registration form.
